No matter how cute you think it will be, do not do the butterfly release. They’re suffocated in their envelopes/boxes and are either dead or close to by the time you release them at the ceremony. It almost never ends up being how you picture and it just ends up being a sad note.

Plus, if you’re superstitious, releasing a dead creature isn’t exactly the greatest start to a marriage.
